Clean, well-stocked and friendly staff at this location. Not much more one can expect from Walmart, who is already known for excellent pricing. This facility is quite new which makes shopping here even more enjoyable.
Good cheap place to buy stuff but the receipt checkers are a turn off. I have had a few bad experiences with food but overall a good store.
The sales people are wonderful!! The people who visit the store definitely leave something to be desired. I'm in a wheel chair. People in this store (not the employees, the shoppers) are so rude. They often walk right in front of you, stand right in the middle of the Isle or, cut you off and won't get out of your way. The children are worse in MOST CASES. The kids run around the store screaming, run right in front of you and sometimes crash into you. There was one boy who was taught respect, I could tell. He noticed I was there, go out of my way and said, "excuse me, I'm sorry" . Whoever his parents are, I congratulate you. You child is very respectful. Great job raising this one. I hope you know who you are. And only four times total, have people offered to help me. What happened to people thinking of others. I always have respected the disabled. Then I became one. People please, show a little courtesy, please?? Again, the sales people are the best. If you can't find something, they either take you to the item, or go and find it and bring it to you, every time I've asked. I have heard bad things about Walmart, but their employees are top notch and very very nice.
If you're looking for a good shopping experience to not go to the Walmart in Monroe. I went in to look for a Christmas tree in the outdoor Department. When I asked for help to see if there was a particular tree there that I was looking for the response I got was horrible. I showed them the picture of the tree that I was looking for and the person said well if there isn't any on the floor we probably don't have it. But on the website it said that they did. She was very rude and very disrespectful to me and had him like I was putting her out. I asked her if she could call another Walmart to see if they had one and she responded with well why can't you call on your phone I have to go way in the back to go to where I can find a phone to call. So I had to call the stores myself and I found one at the Walmart in Everett. The people that worked there we're very helpful and very nice and went out of their way to help me and make sure that I had a good customer experience.
Store is clean, well lit, well maintained. Prices are competitive and often the cheapest around. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful. However you may feel about the company aside, if you need to use their store, the experience is just like any other typical grocery store only with more bang for your buck.
The reason why I took another star is their fish section. Although the hardware is fairly nice the fish aren't taken care of. Many are dying or dead and they seem to be left that way, when purchasing one a employee spoke to me and advised against it due to the fish's health
