The Evergreen State Fairgrounds is a place I go every year. It has the right mix of rides for adults and rides for children Plus all of the 4-H dog competition horse riding cows sheep chicken rabbits everything that you don't get to see living in the city. It's still small enough though that you can do it in one day and feel like you saw the whole thing. It has live music cultural exhibits like Native American dancing lumberjacking, and has a Raceway and also has concerts so you really have everything it has huge space underneath the stands for the Raceway filled with vendors to buy all kinds of things souvenirs 2 kitchen gadgets and knives I always go and I always enjoy it

This year was our family's first trip to this fair. We had an enjoyable time seeing all the animals and exhibits. I had the impression that there were more food options here then at Spokane, but was generally smaller then the Puyallup. The fair scones were a treat, especially as part of the strawberry shortcake, ice cream was delicious on a hot day, and the shared elephant ear was unanimously the best we have had.

Great Fairgrounds. Lines are never too long, you get a bit of everything from racing to horses to concerts. Good, all around fair abs prices are below that of other big fairs! Grounds are kept clean, no smoking inside and recycle bins all over. They now offer free shuttle service from parking to main entrance

This is a really nice country fair. The grounds were clean and the crowd was small than in the past, making the experience more enjoyable. The only reason I can't give 5 Stars is the $10 parking. It's just price gouging as the fair owns all the property you park on. On the upside, most of the food we ate was reasonably priced.

great facility - best county fair by far. Really enjoyed rodeo, commercial building shops and animal exhibits. Nice selection of foods (astoundingly including healthy choices for those with more will power than I bring to the fair). Easy access off US2 to large parking lots with plenty of space.
