Great local business with a wonderful dog park, but I've been disappointed by prices on each visit. I usually find later that products are 30-50% cheaper elsewhere, which has me hesitant to shop unless the cost outweighs the time it would take me to visit or order from another location.
I LOVE this place. You are always made to feel so welcome, like personal friends. My dog is always treated with nothing but TLC! A high caliber, but homey local business. Super employees.
Love love love this place. Yes it is a little pricey BUT: 1.) They are locally owned 2) this store supports the local food bank.

I haven't frequented Sam's but when I stopped at a competitor's store to ask for frozen mice for my daughter's corn snake, I was referred there. They had what I was looking for waiting for me when I arrived. I think I was talking to the owner and she was very nice. She even asked questions about how we feed the snake and made suggestions. Very nice, I will go back.
The folks that depend on the food bank have pets too, and Sam has gone out of his way to make sure he has pet food for the food bank regularly. BECAUSE he supports the community, I support him and shop here.
